About Transport & Logistics Finance

We arrange commercial finance for the people who move goods: haulage and fleet operators, couriers and last-mile businesses, freight forwarders and warehousing-adjacent operators. We lead on the operator's own business finance, the vehicles, the cash flow and the base you run from.

What we do

We are a finance broker, not a lender. We arrange asset finance for trucks, trailers and mixed fleets, owner-occupier mortgages and bridging for operators buying their own yard or depot, and invoice finance and working capital to smooth the cash-flow gap between paying drivers and fuel and being paid by shippers. We take your case to funders across the market and compare the terms that come back.

How we work

Tell us the asset, the premises or the cash-flow gap, a little about the operating company and your timescale. We come back with indicative terms at no charge. We keep the deal moving through valuation, legal and lender sign-off so a truck or a completion is not held up by admin.

Who runs it

Transport & Logistics Finance is run by Matt Lenzie and is a trading name of Lenzie Consulting Ltd. Matt writes the guidance on this site. We are straight about what finance can and cannot do, and we say so when a facility is not the right fit.

A note on regulation

Commercial lending arranged for limited companies and other commercial borrowers is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Some agreements, for example consumer hire or lending to a sole trader or individual, can be regulated; where that is the case we refer the transaction to an appropriately authorised firm.
